Configurable Registration Fee

Set up the Charge for Registration option so that allows charging fixed fee for onboarding when attendees activating their wristband — directly at the kiosk or in the Billfold app.

The registration fee is configured through a dedicated Revenue Center with type Registration, linked to a special menu containing a single item (e.g. “Registration Fee”) with its own price and tax settings.

How It Works

1. Setup – In the dashboard, created a Registration type Revenue Center and menu with one item (Registration Fee). Enabled Charge for Registration for Activation Kiosk and/or Billfold App in event settings, and optionally customize the on-screen message.
2. Attendee registration – The attendee starts registration at the activation kiosk or in the Billfold app and sees a confirmation screen showing the Charge for registration fee amount (including tax, if applicable).
3. Confirm payment – After confirmation by attendee, the system charging needed amount from bank card and if payment succeeds, the wristband is activated and ready to use. 
4. *Failure – If payment fails, attendee can try again with another card — no need to restart registration
