Stanislav “Stas” Chijik is the co-founder and CEO of Billfold, the leading payments platform for large-scale events and venues. With over a decade of hands-on experience in event operations, nightlife, and food and beverage management, including his foundational role at Brooklyn Mirage / Avant Gardner, Stas brings a rare operator’s perspective to the technology behind seamless guest experiences.
Before launching Billfold, at 19 years old, he built and successfully exited One Stop Beer Shop, a Brooklyn-based craft beer bar he founded. His time as an owner-operator taught him the granular details of high-volume service, shaping the product vision for Billfold.
Seeing firsthand the operational friction and lost revenue in live event environments, Stas developed Billfold to solve those gaps. Today, Billfold powers events attended by millions of guests and is credited with unlocking double-digit revenue increases for its partners by streamlining payments, reducing wait times, and improving customer throughput.
